Tuesday, Wednesday, and Today

Hey, kids. Jackson here. Ah, I know it! I haven't posted for about 3 days now. I am sorry. Too much been going on, you know? I will try to make this one extra special for you to make up. Just kidding. I would have edited last night but I was EXHAUSTED! Anyway, I have a new Robbie/Jackson adventure to share with you guys. This happened on Tuesday night so consider this as Tuesday night's entry, okay?

Well, I was spending the night with Robbie because we had to wake up at 5:30 AM and be at school around 7:00 AM. That is horrible, and if I had come from my house, I wouldn't have had as much time to get ready. And when I have to get up THAT early, trust me... I want to have as much time in the morning as possible. Robbie and I had planned for me to spend the night with him early on in the week. Robbie's house is 2 stories right? Well, he has a fire escape ladder in his room, and.. well..

Okay so we had OTHER plans too. We are just evil little hobbits, indeed. His mom sets the alarm every night, so robbie opened the window a tad just before she went to bed, so when his mom set the alarm off it wouldnt go BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP etc. He has had alot of time to think this over, hasn't he? Anyway, we texted his little sister to see if she wanted to go too. She didn't reply, so we concluded that she was asleep. Anyway, come 12:09 AM, we opened his window the rest of the way and got his little roll-out fire escape ladder. JESUS that thing was loud!

I went downstairs to see if I could hear him getting it out, and.. low and behold it was VERY loud. All of the metal parts kept slamming into each other, and when we finally got it ready, we threw it out his window, and that was even LOUDER. As Robbie climbed down, some of the rungs on the ladder that were stuck together got loose and it collapsed underneath his weight. He fell off and we both started cracking up. On my way down it was much simpler, Robbie had gotten rid of most of the obstacles on his way down.

Once we were down and free in his neighborhood, we wanted to revisit our G-Spot. (See Sunday's entry if you don't know what our G-Spot is.) It was much, much different during nighttime. As a matter of fact, when you pass Sara's house, there is a floodlight. We noticed this on Sunday night so we both were extra cautious when passing by it. We didn't set it off, and then we were faced with our next obstacle. When going in between Sara's fence and her neighbor's fence, if you make the slightest bit of noise her dog starts barking. We were almost to the end of her fence, and either Robbie or me stepped on a twig (we still aren't sure) and the dog started barking madly.

We made it to the fence separating us from the G-Spot and we climbed under the hole. We looked around for the spray paint we left there on Sunday, but it wasn't there. We both agreed that this mission was botched, and we went back across the fence, past Sara's fence (the dog was still barking!), and then past the floodlight, which, again did not go off. How lucky can we get?

Getting back in the house was a little bit harder than it looked. I was the first one to go up the ladder. I felt my weight pulling the little ladder back and I felt like I was about to fall down. Eventually I made it to the top and pulled myself in though. Once Robbie was up, we quietly tried to pull the ladder up, but it proved to be quite noisy as well. At about 12:30 we were both lying in bed and talking. We talked till about 1:00 AM or 1:15 and then we both fell asleep.

This leads into the next entry, which would have been posted yesterday (if I wasn't asleep in the first place.)

Robbie's mom finally got us to wake up at 6:00 AM. We were BOTH exhausted, but I told Robbie he could take the first shower. I got about 10 minutes more of sleep, and then I went to take my shower. When I got out of the bathroom, Robbie was asleep on the bed. Stupid hobbit.. Anyway, he went downstairs to get his uniform. I got dressed upstairs and he got dressed downstairs (aren't you glad?) and then we ate breakfast. Before I knew it, it was 6:45 and we loaded up in the Berry's car.

When we got to school we were too tired to go into the school to use the bathroom, so we just got on the bus in our seats and waited. As for the bus ride, what can I say? It was a bus ride: long, boring, and usually nervewrecking. I listened to a CD for the first hour or so on the bus ride. The Used, I think it was. After that I hung out with my usual crew. Robbie, Cory, Sara, Sarah Beth.. Also we hung out with Megan and Vaughan. I got pretty close with them too. Overall we had a decent time, I guess. Everyone was tired.

When we finally arrived at DSU, we unloaded and got ready to sing. Yay. As for what exactly happened during the festival today, I really wasn't paying attention. I felt like a lamb being herded and shepherded. I did as I was told and I survived without getting into too much trouble (hehehe..).

Back on the buses again! It is about 1:00 now, and we are all starving! We make our way towards the facility where we will eat lunch. Our bus was one of the first ones there. When we got there, we got to eat the lunch that we paid 6.50 for. Everybody was pissed about what we got. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwich. I guess you could say I was lucky, because everybody else said what they ordered was NASTY! I mean, it was okay. But for 6.50? You'd think they'd give us more than a sandwich, a brownie, a bag of chips and coke.

Back on the buses.. AGAIN! And this time, our next stop was home. Thank god. We left at about 2:30 maybe and were en route for Madison. This ride was infinitely much more enjoyable because we were all much more awake and alert. We were hyper as crap, and for the first hour or so on the way home, Robbie and I played "the titty twister game".  My left nipple is BLUE now!

We got home much earlier than we expected to. 5:15 to be exact. Not bad, considering we were originally gonna get home at 6:30. On my way home I kind of dozed off in the car, but I woke up when I got home cuz I had homework to do! I was so uncomfortable. I went to bed eventually. This leads into today(thursday's) entry!

Okay this morning I was so completely exhausted it was not even funny. I was not in the mood to get up and go to school. But, my mom made me. I thought I wasn't gonna make it, but I toughed it out. In the end I guess I am glad I went, but I would never tell her that.

Here's how my day went.

1st-7th: I was bored/sleepy. We did schoolwork, and I got my homework. What a detailed and exciting day! If anything special happened, you'd be the first to know. Mean it.

At home: Did homework from 4:30 to 6. I changed my lightbulb out. I texted Robbie during this whole time, and eventually I got on the computer to update my blog, and further your understanding of the story that is my life. Have any questions? Me too. Haha. I am so tired. Talk to you later, Jackson

Back to school, back to school..

I hate mondays. I slept late till 9:00 AM'ish (not to be confused with the amish lifestyle). Even though I told my mother that I missed the first two periods, she cared not. I decided that I wanted to go anyway. Besides, today was rather important! I got to meet Hana today! Isn't that pimpt?

I came in halfway through 2nd period, so I guess I will start there.

2nd - Everybody was happily working on a prefix/suffix worksheet. I easily jumped right into it and worked till the bell rang.

On the way to 3rd - Saw Hana. Still happy about that :)

3rd - Today we learned about women's rights. I couldn't help but make fun of this; Who could blame me? Oh well it probably makes me sound like a prick but you would have had to have been there. Mrs. Stringer must have adopted this week as her "sexist week" LMAO.

4th - English is always an interesting experience. Especially if Steve-o is in your class LOL. Nothing really happened in here apart from the usual "check homework, learn something new, do work on it, finish for homework" lesson approach that makes Mrs. Dear's class so LONG and BORING. But at the same time it's not long and boring. You get it? Neither do I.

5th - Today in choir, it was long and monotonous because my hobbit-brother, Merry, (robbie) got checked out. I felt very alienated among all of the choir dorks. Blasted humans.. We got a chance to work on our music. It was choir. Duh.

Lunch - At lunch I sat with the usual suspects, even though I wasn't nearly as loud for Merry wasn't there. It was alright though. Sara Parenteau and Sarah Beth are like my best friend-girls. I also sat with Cory Washington and we discussed that one day white people will be slaves to blacks and I have already started calling Cory "massa (master)". It's really quite funny.

6th - Chemistry sucks! Holy crap we are learning how to balance equations. I am so happy I didn't skip today. If I had missed Mrs. Smith's teaching this I might very well be LOST tomorrow.

7th - In Pre-Algebra we checked homework, took a quiz, and then started on our homework. Of course, I finished my homework with a good 15 minutes left of class. You have to remember, this is Mrs. Fox's class. I pretty much got up without warning and wrote "Will M. (heart)s Cleo B." and then Will got up and erased it and replaced his name with Jackson. Then I got up and we erased my name and wrote Mrs. Fox (heart)s Cleo B. This started the whole class on drawing little hearts with messages on the board. Ahh, what can I say.. I am just a trend setter! ;)

Everybody in your mean time please visit my friend Logan's blog! It rocks! http://iono.blogdrive.com

That is my day summarized. I mean I wish my life was more interesting then you might actually read to the bottom of each entry. Oh well, until next time. Peace, love, and miniature infernos. Jackson

An Average Sunday

Ah, today was mediocre. I slept late, as I promised myself I would do. I dont know if you consider noon as "late", but, I do. I try to allow myself that extra rest, especially after a work day.

Robbie called around 1:00 and asked me if I would like to participate in the Chapel of the Cross's youth dog/car wash today, and I told him I didn't feel too great. So that pretty much ended that conversation, but I got to talk to Hana from like 1 till 5 off and on. I also played guitar/played video games during this time.

I called Robbie back around 4:45 and we arranged for me to go over to his house to just goof off till like 8:30. I was going to walk to Hana's house with Robbie (Fairfield and Summertree ain't too far away from each other) but it was getting dark and we just decided that we better stay in his neighborhood. But did we let that stop us from causing all sorts of mischief/mayhem? If your answer to this question is yes, then you must not know me very well.

Robbie and I DID go out for a walk. We didn't stray too far from his house. We went through people's yards and crawled under fences and finally reached our destination. Way out in the middle of nowhere! Robbie and I are unofficial pyromaniacs. Wanna know how I know this? Well, we brought some spray paint and matches with us. The rest is perhaps one of the most unforgettable events of my life.

Well, way out in this "ghetto" that we had found, we were hanging out in a ditch. In this ditch laid a long board, and we wanted something to do so we took Robbie's can of green spray paint and, just to see what would happen, drew a circle on the board and put a match to it. The match kind of followed the trail that we had made for it, and we had a flaming circle for a second. Pretty nifty, huh? We wanted to be creative little children, so we started writing other random things on this board and seeing what they looked like while set to flames, such as "Hobbit" and the like.

You may be wondering why we wrote the word, "hobbit". It's kind of an inside joke between me and Robbie. You see, he is Merry and I am Pip. Ever since we have been hobbits, we have gotten in more trouble then ever before. Isn't that a commendable thing? It has stuck with us for a while now. Obviously, when you put two "hobbits" together, it is not a very safe environment to be in.

As a matter of fact, I was on the phone with Hana for the entire time while we were doing this, and after we got bored with writing flaming words, I was hanging out and just goofing around with the spray paint. I was trying to see how thick of a coat of spray paint I could get on there, not really aiming to accomplish anything, but I was definitely holding the spray paint at close range to the board. Without warning, Robbie slipped a match underneath my shower of paint and the result was quite a marvelous thing.

Robbie describes what we created as a "miniature inferno". It blew up on us and we both were so frightened we jumped back. I kind of yelled a little bit; a yell mixed with laughter. Robbie just jumped back and started cracking up. He literally pissed his pants. It all happened so fast, I mean Hana was cracking up because we were both going NUTS! I didn't know Robbie had pissed his pants until we were on our way home from our "ghetto ditch". Needless to say, I believed it when he told me.

Once we got back to his house we just hung out a little bit. Watched a little TV, played guitar. Eventually my mom picked me up at 8:30; she had picked Popeye's up on the way home. I was delighted! When I got home I brought the groceries in then talked to Hana on the internet while doing my homework. That leads me up to the conclusion of my day. The conclusion is me writing this blog entry, and then hopping into bed as soon as possible.

Looking back, today didn't suck as bad as I thought it would. I am going to see Hana at the beginning of 3rd period tomorrow; I can't wait! Until tomorrow, my friends. Adios.

Saturdays = Hell

Ah, Saturdays. Don't we all just love them? The juicy center of your weekend; sleep late, stay up late. On Saturdays there is no limit to what you can do. Everybody looks forward to Saturdays because each one is unique, and they are never the same.

Well, never the same, except for mine of course. Wouldn't you have guessed?

Due to child labor laws, I am only allowed to work during the weekends. But Chick-Fil-A has this policy, right, so that they are closed on Sundays. This leaves the heavenly day of Saturday as the day that I work on. And MAN do they work me. They are probably sitting in the office right now: "Haha, yeah, you know that 14 year old? What an idiot! We are milking him for all hes worth!" Of course, I get paid VERY decent wages for my work. 6.50 an hour. Not bad eh? Wanna know what is bad? Waking up at 7:00 am. I had it easy this week, my hours were 2-6. This coming weekend, however, I am working a whopping 7-2. I think they were trying to make me feel better, considering they worked me over 30 hours during Spring Break.

Anyway, as for what happened today, not much. I served a few chicken sandwiches, made a few drinks. Nothing to big. All I know is that somehow, even though I wasn't worked but 4 hours, I am exhausted. It's kind of pathetic, really.

I was going to have Robbie spend the night but his mom wanted him to stay home because he went to that lock-in last night. Today royally sucked. There's always tomorrow. I hope my girlfriend can do something...

So you won't see through me..

Hey ya'll. Uh, this is Jackson. I decided to give this bloggin thing a try. I don't know what it is, but the fact of posting what goes on in your life on the internet just seems so appealing to me. For those of you who don't know me, I guess I will tell a little about myself.

All about me
Name: Jackson Henry Kellum (my middle name is so awesome, dontcha think?)
Age: 14
Marital Status: Taken (Kayla Warwick - Love ya!)
Eyes: Brown
Hair: Brown
Complexion: Really pale
Height: 5'7"
Interests: Skateboarding, but not as much as I used to. I play guitar alot, and I am in a band called Seven Stars. I like to eat cereal too.

Favorites
Movie: Probably Scarface.
Actor: Edward Norton
Band: I really couldn't say. I love music and every band has their pros and cons. If I had to single a
band out though, I would have to say either AFI or Blink-182's old stuff. Their new cd is SHIT
Book: I really enjoyed the Redwall series by Brian Jacques while I was in 5th grade. Ever since then I haven't really read anything.
Guitarist: Slash from Guns n' Roses

Jesus forget that.. you pretty much got it right? Okay then.. moving on..

Today was really cool. As most of you probably know (or don't know, depending on how much you care) Steph and I broke up. Don't get me wrong, I love her to death, but I needed to branch out. I really wasn't ready to "go steady" yet anyway. I wanna have fun and be a kid, not map out my life. For god's sake I am only 14 years old! I also needed a little bit of variety in my life. I wanted to see other girls, and then decide what my tastes were depending on how those relationships went. To make a long story short, Kayla Warwick and I are going out now.

Other than that, my day was pretty much mediocre. Want to hear my day summarized? Yeah, you do so suck it up. Haha I am just kidding. Anyway here goes:

1st Period Computer: We listened to Mrs. Malone complain about how she was wrongly treated because she just found out that we had to take SmartTrack surveys by next Wednesday. If we behave over the next week, we get a breakfast party. How cute.

2nd Period Written Comm: This class was interesting. For one thing, this is the first class I have Kayla in. See, last night I sent her a text message, but she had fallen asleep, so she never got it. I figured she would check her messages this morning, but to my surprise she had no idea. The funny thing is, that was a bad time for her NOT to have checked her messages. The text I sent was the text where I asked her out. I didn't find out my reply until 12:10, 40 minutes or so before lunch. The moral of this story: uh.. nevermind that. Another thing that made today REALLY funny was steve-o had these little artificial sweeteners and was eating them RAW. This, along with the 3 cups of coffee and 2 or so cokes he had earlier, gave him a sugar rush which effected him until about 5th period.

3rd Period History: We watched a dramatical presentation of runaway slaves and the underground railroad. Now, you know me. I can't pass something like that up. My friend Brent and I had so much fun making fun of EVERY little thing those people did wrong. It really was funny, but I guess in a bad way. Oh, and just for your information, neither Jackson Kellum or his affiliates support slavery, bigotry, or racism in anyway, shape, or form.

4th Period English: Ah, well, Mrs. Dear's class is always a joy. Really, it is. This is the second class I have with Kayla, and remember Steve-o's little sugar rush, mentioned above? Well it wasn't until this period that the true symptoms of his sugar rush became apparent. I feel sorry for the guy, I mean he was shaking and everything. As for Kayla, she told me she replied to my text in 3rd period study hall but, it wasn't until 5th period that I actually received it. Of course, she said yes to me. As for our homework, I finished that in class.

5th Period Choir: Mrs. Crisler wasn't here today so everybody had a study hall. But, you know me, I did NOT use my time wisely. All of my friends were on the band trip, though, so it was just me and Joe Katool. Bless him; he is such a dear! Hahaha! During lunch, it was mainly me and Joe hanging out, but I still talked with the surrounding people a little.

Courtyard/Walking to 6th: I saw Kayla out in the courtyard and we talked. Along with Kameron and Steve-o. I walked with Kayla until we got to the 8th grade door, and then I walked with Steve-o until I got my back-pack. It was then that I remembered that I was going to wait for Vickie. So Steve-o and I waited, and I met up with her and we had our usual 2 minute conversation while she was on her way to Computer. She's so freakin cool if you don't know her you need to meet her!

6th period Science: Ah yes. Science class. We had a sub today, he was pretty cool. He told us we could sit wherever we wanted to and I sat next to Will Mullendore and Trey Brunson. Trey told us about these 2 flash cartoons he saw that were hilarious, and if they are anything like the way he described them to be, they will be hilarious! We read through a section in science, and then we had to do section review as homework, but our Sub, being the nice person that he is, gave us the answers! What a guy!

7th period Pre-Algebra: This class is literally the craziest of the day. Mrs. Fox is so nice, even though she hates our period. Bleh, she knows she loves us. So anyway we learned about Box and Whisker plots! If that is not the coolest thing ever! I got started on my homework, then I joined the rest of the class in "doodling on the board". Somebody had written "such and such loves Cleo Baines" and Will scratched out "such and such" and replaced it with Brad Ingram! It was the funniest thing. Then I went up to the board and wrote "Cleo is my love puppet!" It was classic!

So, that was my day in a nutshell. It might seem long, but it really wasn't. My life isn't too interesting, but, if you aren't here to read these entries then I guess that defeats the purpose of why you came here in the first place, right? Heehee just kidding - you know I love you! Peace, Love, and Short Cake, Jackson
